Trish Bio

Trish's career in real estate spans three decades. In 1968, she obtained her license for Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia, becoming a member of the Montgomery County, Maryland, Board of Realtors. Representing the general brokerage firm of Lewis & Silverman in Chevy Chase, she took over as sales manager of Berger Berman Builders' Windfield subdivision and exceeded the builder's sales projections. Berger Berman asked Trish to take over the Chadwick townhome subdivision, where each year she averaged sales of 150 all-brick townhouses with garages. This was valuable experience working with professional and retired purchasers who had become accustomed to buying homes. Next, Trish went to the Hobbit's Glen single-family subdivision in the most prestigious neighborhood of the Columbia planned community, where she learned to customize 3,500-5,000 square foot luxury homes with libraries, sun rooms, major upgrades in kitchens and baths. Considerations included the location of load-bearing walls and the orientation of roof trusses. Trish sold out 225 one-acre lots. Other assignments from Lewis & Silverman included Poretsky & Starr Builders and Bill Fischer where she gained experience with contemporary elevations and interiors, as well as with upscale move-up buyers in Montgomery County. In 1979, Trish joined U.S. Home in Silver Spring, where she worked her way up to U.S. Home's number five sales manager in the nation. She was placed in charge of walking through each construction site repeatedly to get everything ready before walking through the completed home with the customer. She earned an incentive for each punch-out sheet with fewer than five items.

In 1988, Trish moved to Virginia where she worked for Pulte Homes, Richmarr Homes, Prospect Builders and Atlantic Builders. She turned in for approval budgets for advertising, model upkeep, and grounds maintenance negotiates with service providers, and contracted with selected providers. She was responsible for the results of advertising and the condition of the model and grounds. Having prepared Comparative Market Analyses (CMA), she worked with builders toseethat jobswere competitive.

Trish loves to be a grandmother and is expecting a third. She reads a lot, plays computer games, and enjoys travel, including to Egypt, Jordan, and Israel. She is excited to join the team at REMAX Edge!
